Reducing the stress dealing with cancer is one of the most important things you can do to improve the quality of your life. Weekly mindfulness classes and our Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction series help you learn to quiet anxiety and regain a sense of balance and control. Additional stress reduction programs include periodic workshops on guided imagery and a weekly knitting group.
Gentle Movement Classes
Tai Chi Chih, Yoga, Pilates and Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement programs are offered weekly to help restore flexibility after surgery, gently rebuild muscle strength and endurance after treatment and reduce stress levels. Other exercise modalities are introduced in periodic workshops.
