Kid's Circle and Teen Talk
Kids Circle and Teen Talk is a program for families when a parent has cancer. Licensed therapists lead each workshop which has three components:
- Activity-based group: where children identify feelings and learn coping skills.
- Teen group: provides a place to talk with other teens about how they experience cancer in the family
- Parent group: allows parents to discuss challenges balancing family and cancer treatment.
The program ends with lunch and a family activity designed to enhance communication.
